Sideway Overflow

Sideway overflow is one of the socities earliest waters and has been managed well for the last 50 years. Set in an almost industrial landscape it is just a few minutes drive away from the city. Because of this it has been popular and well-fished water for decades and barely a year goes by without a fine catch of specimen carp being reported. Unlike many other carp fisheries the stock in this pool is almost entirely self generated and a twenty-pound fish fights like one rather than some of the quick grown farmed fish found in other societies waters. A quick look at the membership card will also show that matches are often held on this water and the weights returned show that it is not just another big carp pool.
