Trent & Mersey Canal

Around seven miles of this canal are included in the associations` waters stretching from the industrial centre of Stoke on Trent to the rural outskirts of Barlaston at Meaford. This water continually produces excellent match weights and provides easily accessible water for many anglers. During the school holidays there are several "teach ins" organised for local children with free loans of tackle and expert advice on hand to try to nurture the next generation of anglers. Seven miles of canal, as can be expected holds a massive variety of fish types and provides sport to many kinds of angler.
